Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Transforming Growth Factor Beta Induced (TGFBI), also known as BIGH3 and keratoepithelin, this unconjugated primary antibody supports studies of an extracellular matrix protein implicated in cell adhesion, migration, collagen fibril organization, and integrin signaling. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the antibody cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it useful across comparative work in human tissue specimens and rodent model systems.

TGFBI is best known in ophthalmology research for the corneal stromal dystrophies caused by its point mutations (granular, lattice, Avellino, and Reis-Bücklers types), and it is also investigated in oncology, where TGFBI expression has been linked to tumor suppression or progression depending on tissue context, and in fibrosis and wound-healing studies focusing on ECM remodeling. Each vial is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antisera from a rabbit host, suitable for use with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies; for short-term use keep refrigerated, and for longer storage freeze in aliquots to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and preserve activity across repeated experiments.
