Anti-TGF beta Antibody [2E6] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-21479)

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody clone 2E6 targets Transforming Growth Factor beta (TGF-β) and is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 500 µg format. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG1 isotype, raised against TGF-β purified from human platelets, and is validated for use in ELISA and Western blotting applications. In WB, the clone reacts with the dimeric (25 kDa) and monomeric (12.5 kDa) forms of TGF-β under non-reducing and reducing conditions respectively, while in ELISA it recognises both human platelet-derived and recombinant TGF-β. Reactivity is reported for human samples, making the antibody well suited to cytokine research, fibrosis studies, and investigations of TGF-β signalling pathways. The lyophilised preparation is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.0; reconstituted material is recommended to be stored at 2–8 °C short term or aliquoted and held at –20 °C for longer-term stability, with repeated freeze–thaw cycles avoided.
