Anti-TGF beta Antibody [2C6]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 2C6) targets Transforming Growth Factor beta and is supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation. It is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples.

The immunogen is TGF-ß from human platelets. In Western blotting, the antibody reacts with the dimeric (25 kDa) and monomeric (12.5 kDa) forms of TGF-ß under non-reducing and reducing conditions respectively, and recognises both human platelet-derived and recombinant TGF-ß in ELISA. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and formulated as a lyophilised powder in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.0. It is shipped at 4°C, and upon delivery should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles; reconstitution is with double distilled water.
