Anti-TGFβ RII Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets Transforming Growth Factor Beta Receptor Type II (TGFβ RII, encoded by TGFBR2), a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor that partners with TGFβ RI to drive canonical SMAD2/SMAD3 signaling downstream of TGFβ ligands. Unconjugated and supplied at 100 µl per vial, it is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA applications and detects endogenous receptor in both human and mouse samples.

The reagent is suited to research workflows investigating fibrosis, wound healing, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, extracellular matrix remodeling, and tumor cell invasion. It is also relevant to studies of connective tissue disorders such as Loeys-Dietz syndrome and Marfan-related phenotypes, where altered TGFBR2 function is implicated.
