Anti-TGFβ RI Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of TGFβ RI and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at 1 mg/mL in a liquid formulation of PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthesized peptide derived from human TGFβ RI around the non-phosphorylation site of serine 165 — and the unconjugated IgG preparation is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making the reagent broadly useful across routine mammalian cell and tissue models. Vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve activity, and a short-term working stock may be kept refrigerated for immediate use.
