Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from human TGF β Receptor I surrounding the serine 165 phosphorylation site (D-P-S(p)-L-D), and the affinity-purified IgG preparation is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume of phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabiliser. Intended for research applications, the unconjugated primary antibody recognises endogenous TGF β Receptor I (also known as TGFBR1, ALK-5 or tbetaR-I, ~56 kDa) and has been validated in Western blot on COLO and HepG2 cell lysates and in immunofluorescence/ICC on HeLa cells, with suggested working dilutions of 1:500–1:1000 for WB and 1:100–1:500 for IF (ELISA at 1:10000 is also reported on related datasheets). The reagent is polyclonal in clonality, unconjugated, and reacts with human and mouse samples, providing broad utility for TGF-β signalling studies. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity; the product is shipped from Stockholm with a typical lead time of 5–8 business days and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
