Primary antibody from Antibodies.com directed against TGF-β Receptor I, a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase also called ALK5 or TGFBR1 that mediates canonical TGF-β signaling. This polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot, validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows on human and mouse samples. The epitope maps to residue 165 of the receptor (Ab-165), supporting studies of receptor activation, phosphorylation dynamics, and downstream SMAD signaling in fibrosis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and tumor biology research. Compatible with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies and standard chromogenic or fluorescent detection chemistries, and stored at -20 °C in working aliquots to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
