Supplied through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against transforming growth factor beta-3 (TGF β3, gene symbol TGFB3) and is offered as an unconjugated, liquid-format antibody supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 261-310 of human TGF β3, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of both the pro-TGFβ3 (~47 kDa) and cleaved-TGFβ3 (~13 kDa) forms, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended applications are Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it suitable for studies of extracellular matrix biology, fibrosis and regulatory T-cell biology where TGF β3 signalling is implicated. The host is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal (IgG isotype), the conjugate is unconjugated (no fluorophore or HRP), and the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity of approximately 95% by SDS-PAGE. For short-term use the antibody should be kept refrigerated, and for longer-term storage it should be aliquoted and frozen, typically at -20 °C in working aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
