Anti-TFPI Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, this primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI), also known by the synonyms EPI, LACI, TFPI1, Extrinsic pathway inhibitor and Lipoprotein-associated coagulation inhibitor. The immunogen is recombinant human TFPI protein and, after affinity purification against the immunogen, the reagent is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume as an unconjugated, carrier-free liquid. The antibody specifically recognises the endogenous total TFPI protein and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat samples, making it a versatile reagent across the most commonly used research species. The formulation is a phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the conjugate is unconjugated, allowing the user to choose their own secondary label or detection chemistry. Shipping is performed at 4 °C; on receipt the vial should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
