Anti-TFIIA-α (E311) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the TFIIA-α transcription factor. The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of the TFIIA-α protein and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 300-350 of human TFIIA-α. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of approximately 42 kDa.

The product has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The antibody is supported by two scientific validation images.
