A rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against human Trefoil Factor 3 and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, supports detection of the endogenous TFF3 peptide in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

TFF3 is a small secreted member of the trefoil factor family, defined by a conserved P-domain, that contributes to gastrointestinal mucosal defense and to epithelial restitution after injury. In Western blot, this reagent is used to identify the low-molecular-weight TFF3 band in lysates from intestinal cell lines, colorectal tissue, and other expression contexts under study, while in immunohistochemistry the unconjugated antibody pairs with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents to localize TFF3 in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, including in goblet cells of the gut mucosa. The polyclonal formulation enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the mature peptide, supporting signal in both blotting and staining applications.

Storage at -20 °C, with aliquoting to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protection from light, preserves reagent activity. Each vial contains 100 µl of the rabbit host antiserum, for WB and IHC experimental panels investigating TFF3 expression in human samples.
