Anti-TFEB Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against TFEB (Transcription factor EB), raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of the human protein and validated to detect endogenous levels of TFEB. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and the preparation is unconjugated with an IgG isotype. The antibody is recommended for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA workflows, and it has been verified to react with both human and mouse samples, making it a useful reagent for cross-species studies of lysosomal biogenesis and autophagy regulation. The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring high specificity for the TFEB target. For best results, vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. As an unconjugated polyclonal, the reagent is also well suited as a primary antibody for downstream labelling with the user's preferred detection system, and it is intended for research use only.
