This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets Transcription Factor Dimerization Partner 1 (TFDP1), the heterodimeric cofactor that partners with E2F proteins to drive S-phase gene transcription and G1/S cell cycle progression. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody, the 100 µl volume is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry applications on human, mouse, and rat samples. TFDP1 (also known as DP-1) dimerizes with E2F1 through E2F5 to control proliferation-associated transcription and is required for normal retinal photoreceptor differentiation, where loss of function leads to progressive photoreceptor degeneration. Researchers studying cell cycle regulation, E2F transcriptional activity, oncogenic transformation, or developmental gene programs can use this reagent to detect endogenous TFDP1 in lysates or fixed cell populations. The polyclonal format recognises multiple epitopes on the target, supporting reproducible immunoblotting and flow cytometry signal in standard research workflows.
