Anti-TFAP2A Antibody

This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody, available from Antibodies.com, targets Transcription factor AP-2-alpha (TFAP2A). It is supplied as a liquid preparation validated for Western blot (WB), with immunohistochemistry (IHC) also listed among its applications, and a recommended working dilution range of 1:500-1:1,000 for WB. The antibody is reported to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 120-200 of human Activator protein 2 (AP-2/TFAP2A) (NP_003211.1) and purified by affinity chromatography. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with a lot-specific concentration. The target protein has a stated molecular weight of 50 kDa. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
