Anti-TFAM Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab180763)

Provided by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises TFAM and is supplied as a liquid preparation. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and it has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications on human samples.

The immunogen used was a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–220 of human TFAM (NP_003192.1). The antibody is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The reported molecular weight is 22 kDa.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
