Anti-TFAM Antibody

Generated in rabbit against the human mitochondrial transcription factor A protein, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is formulated for detection of TFAM in western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry workflows. TFAM is a high-mobility-group DNA-binding protein that bends and packages mitochondrial DNA, recruits the mitochondrial RNA polymerase complex to mtDNA promoters, and supports mtDNA copy-number maintenance—features that make it a widely used marker for mitochondrial content and biogenesis in basic and translational research.
