This Antibodies.com rat IgG1 monoclonal (clone KT88) is supplied as 100 µg in liquid format and is validated for immunoprecipitation (IP). The TEV tag corresponds to the Tobacco Etch Virus protease recognition motif (canonical sequence ENLYFQ↓S/T/G) used to engineer cleavable fusion proteins in recombinant expression workflows. KT88 captures TEV protease as well as engineered constructs carrying the TEV cleavage site from lysates of human cell lines, supporting downstream analysis of tag removal efficiency and fusion-protein processing. For best results, store the antibody at -20°C in single-use aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve immunoreactivity.
