From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide containing asymmetrically dimethylated arginine 1682 of human TET2, the Fe(II) and 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase that oxidizes 5-methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine during active DNA demethylation. Supplied as 200 µl of unconjugated liquid in a single vial, the reagent is validated for immunofluorescence (IF) on human cells and tissue sections. The polyclonal response provides multi-epitope recognition around the dimethyl-R1682 mark, supporting studies of arginine-methylation-dependent regulation of TET2 catalytic activity, chromatin association, and turnover, including research on epigenetic reprogramming, haematopoiesis, clonal haematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP), and TET2-driven myeloid malignancies.
