Anti-TERT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) and is intended for the selective detection of endogenous TERT protein in human samples. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the human TERT sequence flanking the non-phosphorylation site of Ser824, and the antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. Supplied as a 50 µL liquid at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the product is unconjugated and recommended for use in Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows. Reactivity has been validated for human specimens, while the polyclonal format in a rabbit host provides broad epitope coverage of the target. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
