Anti-TERT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the human TERT sequence surrounding the non-phosphorylation site of Serine 227, allowing it to detect endogenous levels of the telomerase catalytic subunit. Supplied unconjugated in a liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the antibody is provided at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL and is available in a 50 µL vial. It has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and is reactive with human samples. Recommended handling instructions call for the vial to be shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, aliquoted and stored at -20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The preparation is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, supporting low background and high specificity in detection of TERT (also known by the synonyms EST2, HEST2, TCS1, TP2, TRT and Telomerase-associated protein 2).
