Anti-TERF1 Antibody

TERF1 (Telomeric Repeat-binding Factor 1), also known as TRF1, is a key component of the shelterin protein complex that coats and protects chromosome ends. This rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent, recognizes the human TERF1 protein and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows.

The target localizes predominantly to telomeric regions in the nucleus, where it binds double-stranded TTAGGG repeats and helps regulate telomere length and integrity. Researchers use this reagent to investigate telomere maintenance, shelterin complex assembly, DNA damage responses at chromosome ends, and the role of TERF1 in cellular senescence and cancer biology.
