TEF-5 (also designated TEAD2) is a TEA-domain transcription factor that participates in the Hippo signaling cascade and contributes to tissue-specific gene regulation across developing and adult tissues. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer supplemented with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, distributed as a 100 µl volume. The antibody is raised against the TEF-5 target and has been validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications, with reactivity confirmed for human and mouse samples. This enables detection of endogenous TEF-5 in cell lysates, frozen or paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and in vitro research models.

Because the reagent is delivered unconjugated, researchers can pair it with the secondary label best suited to their detection platform, including HRP, Alexa Fluor, or biotin conjugates for chromogenic or fluorescent readout. The 50% glycerol cryoprotectant permits storage at -20 °C while limiting loss across repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and the sodium azide component preserves microbial stability during routine 4 °C handling. Aliquoting the vial upon first use maintains activity throughout longer studies, and the 100 µl pack size supports multiple membranes or stained slide runs from a single tube.
