Anti-TDT Antibody [N153]

This Antibodies.com monoclonal antibody targets Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TDT), a template-independent DNA polymerase of approximately 58 kDa that is selectively expressed in immature B- and T-lymphocyte precursors. Clone N153, raised in mouse (IgG2b isotype), is validated for western blot detection of the human and mouse protein in research samples such as lymphoid tissue lysates, thymus extracts, and leukemia cell line preparations. Investigators in hematology and immunology labs commonly apply TDT immunoreagents to characterize acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) models, to distinguish lymphoblast populations in flow cytometry panels, and to localize pre-B and pre-T cells in immunohistochemistry studies of bone marrow biopsies. The unconjugated, liquid formulation is supplied at 100 µg per vial and should be stored frozen at -20 °C in single-use working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock tube and preserve binding activity over the shelf life of the reagent.
