The TDP1 target (tyrosyl-DNA phosphodiesterase 1) is a nuclear DNA repair enzyme that resolves stalled topoisomerase I-DNA cleavage complexes by hydrolyzing the 3'-phosphotyrosyl bond. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human TDP1 protein and is supplied as 100 µl of IgG in a vial for immunofluorescence staining workflows on human cells and tissue sections.

Validation for IF application makes it a useful reagent for laboratories studying DNA damage response, topoisomerase I poison sensitivity, or the neurological disorder spinocerebellar ataxia with axonal neuropathy (SCAN1), where inherited TDP1 mutations destabilize the enzyme. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with a fluorescently labeled secondary reagent of the researcher's choice, including anti-rabbit IgG conjugates for multicolor imaging panels.

Recommended handling: store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light once thawed if a fluorophore-conjugated secondary is later introduced. The reagent is for research use only.
