The TCP1 protein (T-complex protein 1 subunit alpha), also referred to as CCT-alpha or chaperonin-containing TCP-1 subunit 1, functions as a molecular chaperone within the cytosolic CCT/TRiC complex that assists in the ATP-dependent folding of actin, tubulin, and other substrate proteins. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against TCP1 and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human samples. Supplied at 100 µl, the reagent detects endogenous levels of the chaperonin subunit in cell lysates and tissue sections, making it a useful tool for studies of cytoskeletal assembly, proteostasis, and chaperone-mediated folding pathways.
