The TCP-1 theta protein, also known as CCT8, is the theta subunit of the eukaryotic cytosolic chaperonin complex (CCT/TRiC) that mediates the ATP-dependent folding of actin, tubulin, and many other client substrates. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against TCP-1 theta and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples.
Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, the antibody is affinity purified and intended for detection of endogenous TCP1 theta in cell and tissue lysates. Its human reactivity profile makes it a practical choice for research into cytoskeletal chaperone function, centrosome biology, and proteostasis pathways. Investigators studying CCT complex assembly, misfolded protein responses, or the contribution of individual TRiC subunits to cancer cell proliferation will find this a useful tool. Store aliquots refrigerated to preserve activity, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
