Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is a rabbit-derived IgG-class antibody raised against TCP-1 epsilon (also known as CCT5), making it a strong choice for laboratories investigating the T-complex protein-1 chaperonin subunit epsilon in human samples. The antibody is supplied at a working volume of 100 µl in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline with 10% glycerol at pH 7.0, with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative, and is provided in unconjugated form, purified by antigen-affinity chromatography. It has been validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reference images including WB detection on Molt-4 whole-cell lysate, IHC staining of NCIN87 xenograft tissue at 1:500, and IF on paraformaldehyde-fixed HeLa cells at 1:200. Reactivity is reported for human specimens, and the immunogen corresponds to a recombinant protein fragment spanning amino acids 89–308 of TCP-1 epsilon, supporting specific recognition of the target. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, ensuring long-term stability for routine bench use in research-only applications.
