Anti-TCP-1 beta Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes TCP-1 beta, the protein also known as CCT2, one of eight paralogous subunits (CCT1 through CCT8) that assemble into the cytosolic TRiC/CCT chaperonin complex. The TRiC/CCT complex is a group II eukaryotic chaperonin essential for the ATP-dependent folding of nascent actin, tubulin, and a broad range of other client proteins.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum raised in rabbit, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. Researchers investigating cytoskeletal biogenesis, chaperonin-assisted protein folding, CCT complex assembly, or chaperoninopathy disease models can use this antibody to detect endogenous TCP-1 beta in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.
