Raised in rabbit against the TCP-1 ζ subunit of the TRiC/CCT chaperonin complex, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot. The TRiC/CCT complex assists the cytosolic folding of actin, tubulin, and many other substrates, and TCP-1 ζ contributes to the oligomeric ring architecture of the particle, making it a relevant target for studies of cytoskeletal assembly, chaperone-mediated folding, and chaperonin-associated disease biology.

The reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across standard laboratory model systems. Because it is provided unconjugated, end users can pair it with a secondary reagent of their own choosing, such as HRP, biotin, or a fluorophore, depending on the detection platform in use. For handling, store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect the preparation from light until use.

As a polyclonal bleed, the antibody recognises multiple epitopes on TCP-1 ζ, which is helpful when probing denatured lysates or fixed tissue sections where individual epitopes may be masked. The rabbit host and unconjugated format also leave room for double-labelling experiments alongside mouse or goat primaries on human, mouse, or rat specimens.
