Anti-TCEB1 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes TCEB1 (Transcription Elongation Factor B polypeptide 1), the ~15 kDa protein also known as Elongin C that scaffolds the Elongin A/B/C complex to stimulate RNA polymerase II elongation and, independently, partners with the von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor in a Cullin-2-based E3 ubiquitin ligase that targets hydroxylated HIF-α subunits for oxygen-dependent proteasomal turnover. Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, the antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting work in hypoxia signaling, clear-cell renal carcinoma models, VHL disease research, and transcription elongation biochemistry. The product is supplied as 100 µl at approximately 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and should be stored refrigerated between 2 and 8 degrees C for routine handling; for longer-term use, aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
