Anti-TCEB1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com raised against recombinant full-length human TCEB1, the 12 kDa Elongin C subunit of the SIII transcription elongation factor complex. Affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography and supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot in PBS buffer at pH 7.4 with 0.05% sodium azide and 40% glycerol, the antibody detects endogenous TCEB1 protein in cell lysates by western blot at a recommended dilution of 1:500–1:2000 and in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections by immunohistochemistry at 1:100–1:200. Cross-reactivity has been validated on human, mouse, and rat samples, with a predicted band near12 kDa on SDS-PAGE. TCEB1 (also called EloC) is a broadly expressed adapter that couples Elongin A to BC-box-containing substrates such as the von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor, bridging RNA polymerase II transcription elongation with Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. Researchers therefore use this reagent to study Pol II processivity, VHL-mediated proteostasis, and hypoxia signaling, including HIF pathway readouts.
