Anti-TCAP Antibody

This polyclonal antibody targets TCAP (Titin-Cap, also known as Telethonin), a sarcomeric protein localized at the Z-disc of striated muscle where it binds the N-terminal ZIg domains of titin and contributes to sarcomere assembly. Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, the reagent is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows and recognizes the human, mouse, and rat orthologs.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Researchers investigating cardiomyopathy, limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2G, and skeletal or cardiac muscle Z-disc biology rely on this reagent to probe TCAP expression and titin interaction in tissue sections and lysates.
