This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets T-box transcription factor 4 (TBX4), a member of the T-box gene family involved in embryonic hindlimb and respiratory tract development. Raised in rabbit hosts and purified as an IgG preparation, the unconjugated reagent is supplied in a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blot detection of human TBX4 protein. TBX4 plays a critical role in coordinating hindlimb morphogenesis and pulmonary vascular development, and loss-of-function variants in the gene are linked to ischiocoxopodopatellar syndrome, also known as small patella syndrome. Researchers studying developmental biology, limb patterning, or pulmonary vascular biology can apply this polyclonal reagent to detect endogenous TBX4 expression in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. As a polyclonal reagent, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes across the target protein, supporting reliable signal generation in standard Western blot workflows.
