Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this 100 µl primary antibody targets the T-box transcription factor TBX1, a developmental regulator encoded within the 22q11.2 region. TBX1 controls pharyngeal arch patterning, cardiac outflow tract septation, and craniofacial morphogenesis, and loss-of-function alterations are linked to DiGeorge syndrome and conotruncal heart defects. The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples, supporting studies of embryonic cardiogenesis, neural crest cell migration, and thymic/parathyroid development. As a polyclonal reagent, it recognizes multiple epitopes on TBX1, which can improve signal tolerance to minor conformational variation. Intended for research use only in studies investigating 22q11.2 deletion biology and related congenital disorder mechanisms.
