A rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com raised against human transducin beta-like protein 3 (TBL3), supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum intended for western blot detection of the target in human and mouse samples.
TBL3 belongs to the WD40-repeat family of scaffolding factors and has been implicated in ribosome biogenesis and rRNA processing. Reagents directed against it are used to probe nucleolar organisation, ribosomal assembly, and the regulatory pathways that couple RNA maturation with cell growth control.
The unconjugated format leaves laboratories free to pair the primary reagent with their preferred secondary detection chemistry. Researchers working on oncogenesis, where dysregulated ribosome production contributes to proliferative phenotypes, use anti-TBL3 antibodies to compare expression across tumour-derived cell lines and matched normal tissue controls.
The vial should be refrigerated in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity across multiple western blot experiments.
