TBC1D2 (TBC1 Domain Family Member 2) is a Rab GTPase-activating protein that functions as a GAP for Rab7, regulating endosomal trafficking, autophagosome maturation, and E-cadherin turnover in epithelial cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against the TBC1D2 target and validated for Western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent is provided as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, with no fluorophore or enzyme conjugate attached. The polyclonal antibody is generated in rabbit and supports reproducible detection across multiple species and lysate types. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve activity, and aliquot if repeated freeze-thaw cycles are anticipated.

This primary antibody is suited to research in membrane trafficking, autophagy pathways, receptor downregulation, and cell adhesion mechanisms, where TBC1D2 acts as a Rab7 GAP and regulator of cadherin degradation. Applications include Western blot analysis of whole-cell and tissue lysates to assess TBC1D2 expression or co-regulation with autophagy and endosomal markers.
