Anti-Tau (S208) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Tau (S208), available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The antibody is raised in rabbit and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 171-220 of Human Tau, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Tau protein. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.

The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). The detected molecular weight range is 50 to 80 kDa, and the product is supported by 2 scientific validation images.
