This phosphorylation site-specific polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the microtubule-associated protein Tau (MAPT) at serine 199, a residue routinely modified in Alzheimer's disease and other tauopathies. Raised in rabbit, the antibody is supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide, and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. The antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat Tau, supporting studies of pathological phosphorylation across rodent models and patient-derived specimens. Each vial contains 50 µl of stock, suitable for multiple experimental batches when aliquoted and stored to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
