Anti-Tau (phospho Thr181) Antibody [1A4]

From Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 1A4) is raised against Tau phosphorylated at Thr181 and is validated for Western blotting (WB). The unconjugated reagent reacts with Human and Mouse samples and is supplied as a lyophilised product. The immunogen is KLH conjugated with a short peptide corresponding to amino acids 177-187 of the phosphorylated Tau protein (sequence APKTpPPSSGGC). The antibody does not recognise KLH alone.

Formulated as an IgG2a isotype and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography, the antibody is lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
