Anti-Tau (phospho-T534) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Tau phosphorylated at threonine 534, offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Tau surrounding the Thr534 phosphorylation site. The antibody is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

It is validated for Western blot applications and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The product detects endogenous levels of Tau only when phosphorylated at Thr534, and also recognises other isoforms phosphorylated at the corresponding site. The expected molecular weight is approximately 50 to 80 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
