Anti-Tau (phospho-S356) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com, raised against Tau (phospho-S356). The reagent is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Reactivity has been confirmed with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human isoforms Tau-4 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 356. According to the manufacturer, the antibody detects endogenous levels of Tau only when phosphorylated at Ser673, isoforms Tau-4 phosphorylated at Ser356, and other isoforms phosphorylated at the corresponding site. The indicated molecular weight is 50 to 80 kDa.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). It is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
