Anti-TAT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent specific for tyrosine aminotransferase, also designated TAT. The unconjugated IgG antibody is supplied in liquid form, with the target protein reported at 55 kDa.

Validated applications include Western blotting, with immunofluorescence also listed as a tested use by the supplier. The antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-270 of human TAT (NP_000344.1), and the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography. A recommended Western blot dilution range of 1:500 to 1:2,000 is provided.

The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
