Anti-TARS Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against threonyl-tRNA synthetase (TARS), a member of the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family that catalyzes the attachment of threonine to its cognate tRNA during protein translation. Supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

TARS is increasingly studied for its non-canonical roles in innate immune signaling and cytokine-like extracellular functions, making the antibody useful for investigations into translational control, stress response pathways, and inflammation research. For short-term use, the vial can be kept refrigerated; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to preserve activity, and limit freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only.
