Anti-TARS Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, targets TARS (also referred to as ThrRS). It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 1–230 of human TARS (NP_689508.3). The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target protein has a molecular weight of 83 kDa, and the concentration is reported as lot specific.

Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000, IHC: 1:50–1:100, and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:100. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Performance is supported by 5 scientific validation images.
