Produced in rabbit and affinity-purified as an unconjugated IgG, this Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent recognizes TATA-box binding protein associated factor 9 (TAF9), a transcription factor that functions both as a subunit of the TFIID general transcription complex and as a component of the INO80 chromatin remodeling complex. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody detects endogenous TAF9 in human and rat samples and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot ready for immunoblotting of cell lysates or staining of fixed tissue sections.

TAF9, also annotated as TAFII31, contributes to RNA polymerase II transcription initiation and supports histone acetyltransferase activity through its incorporation into the TFIID and ATAC complexes. Researchers studying transcriptional regulation, chromatin remodeling, or general transcription factor biology use this reagent to probe TAF9 abundance across diverse sample types. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary antibodies of the user's choice. For storage, keep the vial refrigerated and aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the reagent is intended for research use only.
