Supplied through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against TAF15 and validated for routine western blotting and immunohistochemistry workflows. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human TAF15, allowing the reagent to detect endogenous levels of total TAF15 protein across the tested species, with confirmed reactivity on both human and mouse samples. Each 50 µl unit is supplied as an unconjugated rabbit IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) lacking Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺, and stabilised with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The IgG fraction was purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, which contributes to the specificity observed in WB and IHC applications. For handling, the antibody ships at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for storage at –20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles that can compromise performance. With its combination of a polyclonal host response, an unconjugated format that accommodates downstream HRP- or fluorophore-labelled secondary detection, and validated reactivity in two mammalian models, this reagent is well suited to expression profiling, validation studies, and immunohistochemistry-based localisation experiments involving the TAF15 RNA-binding protein.
