TAF12 (TATA-box binding protein associated factor 12) is a subunit of transcription factor TFIID and the TFTC complex, essential for RNA polymerase II-mediated transcription initiation at promoters bearing a TATA box. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes endogenous TAF12 in human, mouse, and rat samples and is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG in a liquid vial format. Validated for western blot (WB) workflows, the antibody enables detection of TAF12 expression across common research models, supporting studies of basal transcription machinery, histone fold domain interactions, and chromatin-associated regulatory complexes. Store at -20°C in working aliquots to preserve activity and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only, including investigation of transcriptional coactivator function and TFIID complex assembly in cell lysates and tissue extracts prepared from cultured lines or whole-tissue homogenates.
