Raised in rabbit against the TACSTD1 antigen, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com supports detection of the EpCAM/CD326 transmembrane glycoprotein in both human and rodent samples. The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, allowing researchers to monitor TACSTD1 expression at the protein level across cultured cell lines and formalin-fixed tissue sections.

TACSTD1, more commonly referred to as EpCAM or CD326, is a homophilic cell-cell adhesion molecule displayed on the basolateral surface of most simple epithelia. It is frequently used as a marker to identify epithelial-derived carcinomas and to enrich circulating tumor cells, making this reagent useful for cancer research, stem cell studies, and investigations of epithelial differentiation and tissue architecture. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera, which permits flexible pairing with user-selected secondary labels such as HRP, fluorophores, or biotin depending on the chosen detection method. Cross-reactivity is reported with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting both rodent model studies and translational work on patient-derived material.
