TACR2 (Tachykinin Receptor 2, also referred to as NK2R) is a G-protein coupled receptor that binds neurokinin A and drives smooth muscle contraction, intestinal motility, and airway responsiveness. The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal primary antibody recognizes the human TACR2 protein and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Supplied as 100 µl in a single-use vial, the unconjugated reagent allows researchers to pair it with their preferred secondary detection system, whether chromogenic, fluorescent, or chemiluminescent. The polyclonal host response produces a population of immunoglobulins directed at multiple epitopes on the receptor, which improves recognition of native protein in fixed tissue sections and whole-cell lysates. This reagent is intended for research use only and is well suited to laboratories investigating tachykinin receptor pharmacology, neuropeptide signaling pathways, and tissue distribution of GPCRs in human specimens.
