This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent recognizes Transforming Acidic Coiled-Coil Containing Protein 3 (TACC3), a centrosomal and mitotic spindle factor that supports microtubule nucleation, centrosome maturation, and kinetochore-microtubule attachment during cell division. Produced by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent, it is intended for Western Blot (WB) detection on human-derived samples.

Each vial is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage for native, recombinant, and denatured TACC3, allowing researchers to track protein expression across treatment conditions, cell cycle synchronization experiments, and cancer cell line panels in research use only workflows. TACC3 levels rise during G2/M and decline at mitotic exit, so Western Blot signals can be quantified to monitor mitotic index, Aurora A pathway activity, and proliferative status in cultured cells.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, it pairs with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies chosen by the user, supporting chromogenic, fluorescence, and amplified detection workflows. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Reported applications are limited to Western Blot; suitability for immunocytochemistry or immunoprecipitation has not been validated by Antibodies.com for this reagent.
